On September 28, the Rotary Club of Boca Raton West hosted a special lunch event at Rodizio Grill in Dania Beach to raise funds and awareness for the Central Wheelchair Bank, a Rotary initiative dedicated to providing mobility and dignity to those in need across Brazil.

The gathering combined delicious Brazilian cuisine with purpose and fellowship. Guests learned how the Central Wheelchair Bank not only donates wheelchairs but also strengthens the local economy in Brazil by purchasing from national suppliers—creating jobs, empowering Rotary Clubs, and ensuring a faster, more sustainable distribution process.

Several important community leaders attended, representing key organizations that help build potential partnerships for the future, including Boca Bowl ESPN, the Fuller Center, and the Knights of Pythagoras.

The event also brought together representatives from several Rotary Clubs — Delray Beach, Boca Raton, Boca Raton Downtown, and Doral — highlighting the unity and collaboration that define Rotary’s spirit of service.

Adding to the significance of the occasion, the District Governor was also present, reinforcing Rotary’s ongoing commitment to impactful humanitarian projects.
