President: Elizabeth Alderete
Elizabeth Alderete is an administrator, entrepreneur, and owner of TopStarUSA and InvestBrasilUSA. She is also a real estate broker and consultant, specializing in real estate investments, including residential and commercial properties, businesses, and property management at MS Realty.
She operates in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach County, as well as in Orlando, Tampa, and the states of Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. She provides advisory and consulting services for the purchase and sale of businesses and franchises.
Elizabeth is also a licensed financial consultant in the states of Florida and New Jersey. She actively participates in several entrepreneurial support groups across Florida.
Vice President: Dini Heizer
Dini Heizer is a South Florida–based community leader and communicator, dedicated to service and storytelling. A graduate in Geography from Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF) in Brazil, she brings her academic background together with a strong passion for community engagement and international fellowship.
Dini is an active member of the Rotary Club of Boca Raton West and its satellite clubs, where she has served in multiple leadership roles, including Member Founder (2008), Club President (2015–2016), Secretary (2012–2015), Vice-President (2020–2025), Newsletter Editor, and Public Image Chair (2020–2025).
She also created meaningful projects such as Mother’s Day and Father’s Day celebrations for the club.
At the district level, she contributed as Newsletter Editor (2014–2019) and Public Image Chair (2016–2017), strengthening Rotary’s communication and visibility.
Beyond Rotary, she serves as an Online Editor for The Boca Raton Tribune, a local newspaper that highlights news, events, and voices from the community.
Secretary: Luciana Becker
Born in Porto Alegre, Brazil, she is a Business Administrator with 34 years of experience as Administrative Director of a plastic surgery clinic.
Since 2023, she has been a member of the Rotary Club of Boca Raton West, where she combines her passion for animals with service, coordinating the Dogs Helping Dogs project to support abandoned dogs in shelters.
She currently serves as Club Secretary for the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 terms.
Treasurer: Angelica Blakely
Born in Londrina, but also shares her heart with São Paulo, where she lived from the age of seven until moving to the USA in 1992. With a degree in Hospital Administration and a postgraduate degree in Marketing, she worked in the healthcare field for fifteen years.
She currently holds the position of Regional Vice President of Pan-American Life Insurance Company, headquartered in New Orleans.
She became a member of Rotary Boca Raton West in August 2009 and served as president-elect for the 2013-2014, 2018-2019, 2023-2024, and 2024-2025 Rotary years.
At the invitation of the District Governor of Area 6930, she served as the district’s public relations officer from 2014-2015.
Sergeant-at-Arms: Marli Saraiva
Doctor in Education from the State University of Rio de Janeiro and the University of London; Master in Science from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro; Postgraduate degree in Portuguese Language from the College of Philosophy, Science, and Letters of Patrocínio; and Bachelor’s degree in languages (Letters) from President Antonio Carlos University.
Approved and licensed by the Florida Department of Education to teach in Public Schools. Teacher in Miami-Dade and Palm Beach Counties through the Foundation “Vamos Falar Português”. Serves as the Pedagogical Coordinator for Babel Language. Member of the American Organization of Teachers of Portuguese and Awarded “Community School Teacher of the Year” by Northwestern University, in Chicago, Illinois, in 2023.
Has held several leadership roles as a Board Member of the Rotary Club and is currently serving as Sergeant-at-Arms for the 2025–2026 presidency of the Rotary Club Boca Raton West, in Palm Beach County.
Boynton Beach Sunshine Satellite Chair: Rodrigo Granja
Married to Priscila and father of two daughters, I am a long-distance runner with a passion for endurance sports. I have over 30 years of experience in the development and implementation of systems, always with an entrepreneurial and innovative approach.
I hold a degree in Systems Analysis from PUC Campinas and an International Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
I also served as a Second Lieutenant in the Brazilian Army.
In 2020, I graduated from the Founder Institute program in Silicon Valley.
I am a co-founder of several companies, including Logithink IT, Exxemplo Tecnologia SAP, Organize-Here (workforce scheduling management), Apps Plix Developers LLC, RECpoint Sports Recording, GovNnect (technology solutions for governments), and Reconect Me (human well-being solutions).
I dedicate much of my time to sharing experiences with entrepreneurs and launching startups.
Central Connections Satellite Chair: Alessandro Posso
Alessandro Ponso is the founder of Allum Corporation in US and Labsolutions in Brazil, companies that are in the Research and Quality Control Markets with focus in Cryogenic, Electrochemistry and Supercritical Fluid Technology.
In 2022 started with his wife Gilmara the Art and Love Foundation, that support patients and families that are in the cancer journey.
They have two daughters (Amanda and Fernanda), one son (Arthur) and a granddaughter Ivy.

Director-at-Large: Douglas Heizer
Lorem Ipsum is simply a dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
